About Us
The Jack O’Neill Memorial Charity (JONMC) is a nonprofit organization based on the Mississippi Gulf Coast dedicated to supporting and expanding opportunities for junior golfers. Through scholarships, youth tournaments, community events, and partnerships, JONMC helps young players develop their skills, confidence, and character both on and off the course.
Founded in honor of PGA Professional and Marine Corps veteran Jack O’Neill, the organization continues the values he believed the game of golf could teach — integrity, discipline, perseverance, and respect. What began as a memorial effort has grown into an organization focused on creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation of golfers across the Gulf Coast region.
Today, JONMC works to make youth golf more accessible while building a strong community around mentorship, sportsmanship, and giving back. Every event and contribution directly supports programs and opportunities that help young athletes continue to grow through the game of golf.
Empowering young golfers through opportunity.

Inspired by Jack O’Neill
Jack O’Neill was a Marine Corps veteran and PGA Professional whose life blended service, mentorship, and a deep love for the game. His belief that golf builds character through discipline, integrity, and self‑motivation shaped the way he taught and the way he lived. Jack dedicated his later years to helping young players grow, often giving his time, guidance, and encouragement long before the charity existed. His legacy continues through this organization, which carries forward his commitment to opening doors for junior golfers across the Gulf Coast.
Every young golfer deserves a chance to compete.
Your support makes that possible.
Our Impact
Since its founding, JONMC has created opportunities for junior golfers throughout the Gulf Coast region. Our annual tournaments and community-driven fundraising efforts support players at multiple stages of development, from local junior competitors to high school and collegiate athletes. These programs are designed to provide structured pathways for growth, helping young golfers gain experience, build confidence, and continue advancing in the game.
Funding from these efforts is used to provide scholarships, offset travel and tournament expenses, and expand access to competitive play and necessary equipment. Each event, sponsorship, and donation is directly reinvested into junior golf, ensuring that resources reach the players who need them most. As a result, more young athletes are able to participate, compete, and benefit from opportunities that support both their development and long-term success.
