Annual Junior Championship
The Jack O’Neill Memorial Junior Championship is a 36-hole tournament held each year at The Club at Diamondhead, bringing together junior golfers from across the Gulf Coast and surrounding region. Open to boys and girls ages 12–18, the championship provides a structured and competitive environment for players to test their abilities while gaining valuable experience in tournament play. Since its launch in 2021, the event has continued to grow, attracting strong participation and a wide range of regional talent.
More than a competition, the championship reflects the core of JONMC’s mission by creating meaningful opportunities for young golfers to challenge themselves and continue developing their skills. The event encourages confidence, sportsmanship, and a deeper understanding of competitive play through consistent, well-organized tournament experiences. As participation has expanded, the championship has become a reliable platform for players to improve, compete, and engage more fully in the game.
